Kashif Qadeer, O. D.
Dr. Qadeer was born and raised in Orange County. He attended UC Irvine for his undergraduate degree in biology. After graduating, he had the opportunity to do research with multiple companies including Allergan, one of the leaders in ocular medications.
This sparked his interest in optometry and he went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2007. His training included externships with Veterans Affairs hospitals as well as at the Center for the Partially Sighted. After graduating, Dr. Qadeer completed further training after being accepted into a one year residency program for Ocular Disease at the Veterans Affairs Eye Clinic in Las Vegas.
With his strong ocular disease background, Dr. Qadeer accepted a position with a well known Ophthalmologist in the Palm Springs area. There, he worked extensively with LASIK co-management and contact lenses. He was chosen as one of the optometrists to follow patients as part of an FDA LASIK study. Dr Qadeer was excited to then return to his native Orange County in 2012 to provide local residents with clear, comfortable and healthy vision.
In his free time, Dr. Qadeer loves to spend time with his family and friends and likes to participate in sports.
Zaina Khan, O.D.
Dr. Khan has lived in Southern California for most of her life and grew up in Palmdale. Dr. Khan completed her undergraduate coursework in biology from the University of California in Berkeley. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton in 2010. There Dr. Khan was trained and certified in the treatment of glaucoma.
She completed her external optometric training at the Eye Clinic at Travis Air Force Base, the Red Eye Clinic at Kaiser Permanente, a prominent Vision Therapy clinic and the Stein Cornea and Contact Lens Clinic.
Dr. Khan enjoys traveling in her free time, with Switzerland and Spain being amongst her favorite places visited. She also enjoys the culinary arts and learning new languages.
Dr. Khan looks forward to serving all your eye care needs in Orange County. Her eyecare services range from routine eye exams on patients of all ages to hard to fit contact lenses and glaucoma treatments. Her practice also offers a wide array of fashionable eyewear and sunglasses.
